Rihanna covers Glamour
Glamour: We talk about the last year, you've obviously been through tough. The people next to you how you have helped with?
Rihanna My friends and my family have supported me moly and we all were for me. But at some point remains alone. Are you alone and no one can understand. E 'in these moments that you get closer to God
G: You mean the incident with Chris Brown?
A: Yes, I'm talking about that night before the Grammys and beyond. It is not just what happened this year. The photo spread, a lot of things have happened one after another.
G: Talk of the photo [of Rihanna showing her face swollen after the attack], which seems to have been released by police. You've managed very well, you kept quiet with the press.
R: E 'was humiliating, it is not a photo showing it to anyone. I felt as if I had been exploited. It seemed that people had turned into a fun topic on the Internet, and it is my life. I was disappointed, especially when I discovered that is likely to publish them were two women
G: This event has changed as your person, your being a woman?
Rihanna 'm stronger, wiser and more conscious. You can not imagine how your decisions can affect even people who know, as your fans.
G: epserienza Do you think this has laid the basis for tackling something so public in the future?
R: He taught me a lot. I feel like if I went to sleep like Rihanna and I had woken up as Britney Spears. What was the level of chaos in the media the next day. It was like 'What, there are helicopters that fly over my house? There are 100 people in my street? Signica that you can not go home '
G: If I could say something to the millions of women who inspire you, what would you say to someone who found himself in the same situation?
R: Domestic violence is a big taboo. No child goes around telling parents how to quarrel. No girls can tell their parents that their boyfriends beat them. Do not dare say to your neighbor disputes. And 'one of the things that we women hide because it is embarrassing. My story was broadcast around the world to show everybody, and I have followed every step of my recovery. The positivity of this thing that people could learn from my situation. I want to focus on young women as possible because I feel I represent a voice that is never really heard. Now I can help those women to speak.
G: I think it's a great message.
What about your album? How can it be?
R: I was involved in most of the writing. I put in my music all I wanted to say for the last eight months. The songs are very personal. E 'rock' n 'roll, but very hip-hop: if Lil' Wayne and the Kings of Leon will like my album, then I'll feel good. It does not change a thing. Even if people do not like it, I created it that piece of art I wanted. E 'intrepidissimo, which is exactly how I feel right now. I'm really good.
